Before Hardwood Installation

Here is what you can expect before your hardwood installation with Floorco Flooring:

 

  • We will walk you through the entire installation process before we begin. This is a good time to ask any questions that you might have.
  • Complete any painting that might need to be done before we begin the installation.
  • Personal items, fragile items, breakables and electronics are the responsibility of the homeowner.
  • Be prepared not to have access to the rooms where the installation is set to take place.

During & After Hardwood Installation

Expect the following during our hardwood installation process:
  • Your existing flooring may need to be removed, and your subflooring may need to be prepared. Don’t worry—FloorCo takes care of all of that for you.
  • For a glue-down hardwood installation, adhesives will be spread on your subfloor, and hardwood planks will be laid individually. The crew will cut each piece to fit the room’s layout, ensuring a clean and seamless finish. Please allow 12–24 hours before walking on your floors to ensure proper bonding.
  • For a nail-down hardwood installation, the process is similar—but instead of adhesive, nails will be used to secure the planks. You’ll have immediate access to your floors once installation is complete.
  • Our crew will finish by cleaning up the work area and completing our quality assurance process.


After your hardwood installation:
  • We’ll walk you through the completed installation and answer any questions you may have.
